Take Care Therapeutics Temporarily Closed Until March 31

Hello to all of my amazing clients,

This world is a bit of a crazy place lately. I hope you are taking good care of yourselves.

Your health and that of your loved ones is of the utmost importance to me. Because of this, I have made the difficult decision to temporarily close my massage practice until March 31st (and possibly beyond) as it’s the right thing to do. I must do my part as a front-line health care provider to prevent the spread of this virus. I am also following the CDC recommendations in regards to social distancing.

If you have an appointment within the next two weeks, we will need to reschedule for sometime in the future. Over the next few days I will text/email/call to confirm you have received this notice as to avoid any unnecessary trips to my office and to get you on the books for my tentative return date.

As a healthcare professional, I believe it is my duty to do what I can to help “flatten the curve” and “do no harm”. Because of the 2-14 day incubation period (longer than the season flu), we may be exposed and contagious long before we display symptoms – and thus be spreading it unknowingly.

Since my profession involves being in close proximity and sharing the air for an extended time in a small space, a virus like this can be spread very quickly despite my precautions.

I do not take this decision lightly as this practice is my primary source of income. It is unknown how long this closure will be in effect, but I will be in touch with each and every one of you to make sure we are all on the same page week to week.

I will be rescheduling any currently booked appointments with you all on a one to one basis. You are also welcome to book online for appointments in April using this link, but know again that everything is tentative at the moment while this all unfolds here in Denver.

If you’d like to support me during this time, you are welcome to leave me a Google review here, if you haven’t already. If you are looking for other tools to keep yourself healthy and optimize your immune system, I can help with that as well. Don’t hesitate to reach out for support.

I thank you all for your support and understanding. During this time I will be working on CEU courses as well as keeping you apprised of the situation and sharing ways to stay healthy outside of getting a massage. I look forward to resuming life as usual with all of you and am here for questions or concerns regarding this closure.

With a heavy heart and best wishes of health, I hope to see you all soon!.

Take Care Therapeutics was created to inspire a preventative approach to health and wellness. Receiving regular massage and bodywork is a wonderful example of preventative health care, as are things like setting health goals, eating properly and practicing mindfulness.

There has been a shift in the understanding of the importance of self-care in regards to overall health. Adopting a “prevent now” rather than a “treat later” approach, can drastically benefit our well-being from a physical, mental and emotional standpoint. It’s never too late to have thriving health!

“This was one of the best massages I have had. Kaytlin took time to listen to my preferences, and the initial information sheet was very helpful. The massage not only felt good – it was restorative.” – Jessica S
